Slouching Frogger, Ninja Chipmunk

Last week, we ALL enjoyed the warmer weather. There was a large shiny glow high in the sky, that provided warmth to the earth - and then it left. Oooh, the weather of Ohio.
I just laughed outloud when I saw our resident frog, basking. We haven't really named him yet (mainly because we are trying to determine how many we might have), but refer to him as The 'Mutha. See the circular pad behind his eye? That is called a tympanum (ear), and its size, relative to the eye, indicates gender.
How he must love his pond home. With this kind of slouching, would he be called a "stone potato"?
Then, we discovered THIS mess! The box contained shed parts, and the best we can figure, is that one of our chipmunks couldn't wait to see it! (as long as he doesn't think he is going to live there, too!) ***UPDATE--the damage was found to have been caused by a raccoon...results discussed HERE***
Just look how sweet this little guy is? He was perched right outside out dining room window...which was beside the shed box.

And here is The Shed. I can finally get all my "yard" equipment out of the garage, and around back. Now I can use all my energy ON the yard, instead of dragging/chasing tools around. Hmm, wonder how many chipmunks could fit in here?
Yesterday, we bought 3 tons of stones - to be used along the fence where there they ground gaps are. The stone company just called, and will be delivering tomorrow! Now I have to decide where to put three 1-ton pallets of stone!

Have a Happy Easter holiday!

Cute frog and cute chipmunk! I love the depth of focus in the frog picture especially.

I hate it when there is an animal that is messing with my garden or yard, but it's a cute animal and I'm torn between saving all my hard work and evicting (humanely) a cute wittle animal.
