BELLA!

She arrived in our lives yesterday...via the Adopt-A-Dog program at Marion Correctional Institution. What a lovely girl she is!!
Here is the very first picture I took of her (please excuse the harsh afternoon light and wrong camera settings). I will write about some details later, but couldnt wait to share her with you.

She is a black Lab mix. We think the "mix" might be greyhound. I'll be anxious to get our vet's opinion on that. She is somewhere between 12 and 18 months of age.

Here is her best impression of The Flying Nun! She would be the first to tell you that the best place in the world is outside with a ball!

This is the funniest thing - she dunks half her face into her water to drink. Almost like a horse! Then with a mouth full of water, she heads across the floor...

...which better explains this site on our kitchen floor! But, if this is the only issue with her, I am the happiest "parent" in the world.

So there she is. Bella. All is well with me, now... and my little dog, too
