Patience and stuff

Yeah! A Downy Woodpecker showed up yesterday...and, my camera was actually handy. I was in the dining room, putting up Christmas decorations, and the red on his head was so bright, it caught my eye. So through the window (and screen), I snapped about 20 pictures. I saved about three of them. Later in the afternoon, I went out onto the deck and could hear him "pecking" on a tree downstream. however, as wildlife antics seem to go around here, I am sure he will be outside our bedroom window soon. The following picture of of the Christmas cards I made this year. I intend to have some other "crafty" type pictures and recipes posted soon. But, like many, I am playing the Get Everything Done game. At least our sicknesses are over - so that's out of the way. Now we have some yucky weather coming. Grrr.
