Tunnel vision

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. I see those of you traveling, have made it back safely. We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with family at a local lodge. Years ago, we found it easier to meet, eat, and leave. No crazy prep, or tiring clean-up. The only thing I miss about eating out, is leftovers...so I roasted a turkey earlier in the morning. We have enjoyed delish sandwiches.
On Saturday, we went to see a basketball game. The video here, was taken as the team came out of their locker room, and gather in the tunnel before rushing the floor. This is probably one of my favorite parts of the game. We get a two week break, since they are on the road. Thank goodness we got the Big10 Network - finally! (click > to play)

On our way home from the game, we stopped at Walmart and got Gracie an additional bed. She has one beside our bed, and I wanted her to have one here in our family room. Its a Thermal-Pedic style. It is so comfy, I'd kinda like to find one big enough for me. Does anyone know why a dog lays with their head off the bed? She does this on her huge bed, or area rugs, etc. Our other dog would do the same thing. Maybe its a skeletal structure thing. With age, her sleep is SO sound now. Of course I am sure being deaf, lets your sleep less distracted. We have had some snow here, so I should get some fun winter pictures with her.

Here is a product endorsement I will share: these Duracell camera batteries are the greatest! They last forever! I got tired of using all my regular rechargeable batteries, and a friend suggested these to me. I got these at Staples for $11.95/8pak. However, I am sure you could get them cheaper at a bigbox store, or with coupons. They have lasted me through 100's of snaps and videos. The back of the box says how many a pair will last, but that is grossly understated - they last x5 the listed amount. At least they can be a holiday splurge for all your photos.

I am so glad you like those batteries. We don't use our camera as much as you, but I just love the fact that when I turn on my camera, the batteries are not dead. Awesome advertisement for them!!
