Are you all waking up to the smell of turk-turk roasting in the oven? Even though we are going out for dinner, I still roast a turkey. We eat alot of turkey in the winter. Love sandwiches, and I make my own stock from the carcass to make some good soup later. On Wednesday, I followed him in, to turn in his State car, return supplies, and had a nice luncheon with his crew.
So, yes, we are very thankful.
Its been busy with the neighborhood blockwatch, and the City put on a Safety Forum, due to additional home invasions. We are just trying to get things coordinated quickly, and have an initial meeting set for the first week in December. This will be our next project. Its been kinda funny with the media, too. I have been in the paper a couple of times, Channel 10 came knocking on our door for an interview, and a Columbus radio station called me twice for interview. What is it about a microphone being present that makes your brain go empty? At least with me. But most importantly, this issue needs to be kept high profile and neighbors involved.
Here's to all of you! Have a restful holiday, safe travels, and thanks for your bounty.
