I am referring, of course, to the most recent notifications of fortune I've received (pictured above). I've always wondered how they actually work.
Is there a fortune Entity that exists? A god? A celestial committee? A fairy? Yeah, like the Tooth Fairy. Is there some tiny winged gnome given jurisdiction to handing out our good fortune, through these ambiguous messages? Do the Fairies rule over all fortunes, or does each culinary establishment have their own staff?
How accurate are they meant to be? Does Royalty refer to actual bluebloodedness and/or appointed status, or could royalty be just anyone plain ole person "dubbed thee" - like the Queen of a County Fair? Or a Mattress King?

I remember, clearly, being terrified to even approach him for the picture. But I was SO happy they won - as I am sure he was, and being gracious to tolerate the fan pictures. I just remember him being so incredibly tall - more so than it looks here. I am 5'7".
If I don't make it back here to post "this year", have a very safe and happy New Year!

You know I don't keep up w/basketball, but I really like your hair in this pic. I think all fortunes are 100% accurate....just thinking positive. Don't forget the little people when your fortune comes true.
